Millions to volunteer on MAKE A DIFFERENCE DAY, OctOBER 27
Millions of Americans across the country are expected to spend
Saturday, October 27—Make a Difference Day—doing volunteer
projects to improve their communities and help neighbors in need.
You can be one of them.

The Volunteer Center online. Projects are searchable by age, group
and interest.
Make a Difference Day is the largest community service effort in the nation, involving 3 million volunteers on one day. Projects have ranged from a countywide cleanup involving thousands of people to a mentoring program in which members of a sorority provided one-on-one support to 35 underprivileged youth.

National Family Volunteer Day, Saturday, November 17
Volunteering provides quality time for busy families, strengthens bonds, and positively impacts local communities across the nation. On November 17, thousands of families and individuals participate in service projects—from park clean-ups and visits to senior homes to building playgrounds.
